Happy Birthday America !!! Hope all my DK friends and their families have a great Fourth of July weekend !!! The big news this month is that Ithaca College announced two weeks ago that they were abandoning their search for an official mascot for the Bombers. While many of us would like to have seen this result in a mascot choice, the options that were presented had nothing to do with Ithaca College or Bombers. So, given those choices and administrations refusal to consider the logical representations of Bomber (a pilot or plane), I'll be satisfied with the status-quo. I've updated the information and the President's announcement on the Alumni News Page.

Lots going on this fall so I thought it important to get the site updated and let everyone know. We have the "Fall Splash" at Ithaca this fall, which is in lieu of the normal Homecoming events. A huge part of the weekend will be the dedication of the new A&E Center, which as you might remember, DK raised over $100,000 for and will be acknowledged at the event and in the building. Also, some of the Alumni are putting together a dinner that Friday night, so if you are going to Fall Splash, and would like to join your DK family for dinner, please follow the link below for information and to RSVP. I would like to ask for anyone that is interest in taking over administration of the site, now that I've found it a new home and remodeled it, to get in touch. It will be very easy to do and I would be forever grateful to get this off my plate after 10 years !!!
